The Cardio Strategy That Will Help You Get Lean

I know you’ve heard these types of statements.

“Interval training is 9 times better for burning body fat than cardio”!

“Cardio is a waste of time, getting lean is all about diet”.

“Intense exercise burns the majority of the calories after you get done exercising”.

These statement are all false or at best, extremely misleading. There aren’t many of us who defend cardio these days. We stick out among the majority who believe cardio is a waste of time.

Let me ask you a question? It is more of a scenario actually.

If you are training as intensely as possible, if your calories are as low as they can go and you are stuck with 5-10 more pounds of fat to lose?

What do you do? What is the solution? How will you hit your goal?

More intense exercise – you can only add so much intense exercise before you become seriously over-trained.
Lower Calories – at some point you really can’t get any lower…it becomes starvation.

This is where cardio becomes an extremely valuable tool. I’m not saying it has to be your #1 priority when getting lean.
