Yahoo! Finance wanted to promote the launch of their upcoming Weekend Edition. The concept was built around the lifestyle-type content that would be appearing in the Weekend page. A golf analogy was used to pull this idea together.

Overview

This ad is really cool - Intel partnered with Yahoo! to become one of a handful of sponsors for Yahoo! Maps. It allows a user to type in their zip code and find all Wi-fi hotspots in their area.

Client Goals

  • Emphasize the Wi-Fi abilities of the new Centrino chip.
  • Illustrate how wireless cuts through the mess of traditional wired internet.
  • Allow users to enter zip code and pass that data to the Yahoo! Maps page.

Challenges Overcome

  • Communicating within a large group of people, end client Intel, Yahoo!’s and my development subcontractor to get project done on time!
