January Font Crush

We’ve all had ‘em. A crush on a font so severe that it starts to pop up everywhere - your client work, your business card, your bath water… So who’s on my January font crush list?

GOTHAM

Shocker, huh? There she sits right up there in the upper left of this site - schmack on my brand. But really… let’s be honest - What’s not to love? As far as sans-serif’s go, she’s the most fantastically fun blend of modern AND peppy!

Hmm… on second thought, maybe she’s just an old habit - I do a lot of work for the ol Yahoo!’s and Gotham is their corporate font. Has my crush been simply a proximity issue? Too much of a good thang?

As I’m thinking - I’ve actually always had a thing for bold, modern, plump & gregarious fonts like Gotham. Prior to my Gotham crush I was nuzzling with Myriad. Then I had a one night stand with Franklin Gothic for which Myriad never forgave me. *sigh* Whatever… Myriad had a shot of an attitude anyway.

Font drama - I need to call up ol Baskerville and see if he’ll go grab a beer with me…

A Valentine’s Treat

Valentine Conversation Candy PinsFor those of you who don’t know, I caught a shot of “old folks disease” (pneumonia) over the holidays and totally slacked on my client holiday cards. I’m just sick about it.. or i was. Anyway I got to thinkin’ (yes it surprised me too) “wow, what better time for a little ‘hello, I love you’ than Valentines?!?!?”

So I started a collection of little funnies (many of them especially for my Yahoo! crew).

I’m also creating custom buttons
- if you’d like a custom button created just give me a holler!
